Using Mozella Thunderbird and Firefox and can no longer open anything containing hyperlinks. Have investigated others on their forums with same problem and have tried all their suggestions including re-installing, creating new profile, and other suggestions. Nothing seems to help. Did not have this problem with earlier versions and getting quite frustrated and contemplating to move over to another browser, a move I would prefer not to take.
PS: Everything works fine when using Explorer and in Yahoo, so I assume problem must be with Mazella, not the computer..

What is your system default browser?

My default browser is Mozella Firefox and my mail client is also Mozella (Thunderbird). I so appreciate your fast response as I am really handicapped with this problem. Had to copy your reply and paste it to get here as I could not open by clicking on the hperlink-very frustrating.

I use mozilla and have had no problems like that, but is it possible for you to reset your default browser back again to mozilla, by simply, unselecting it and clicking it back on and hitting apply...also i would like you to try running two screens of mozilla at the same time, example open up yahoo.com and open up another window of google.com, let me know if it works.

Tried opening Yahoo and Firefox - no problems both seem to be working fine. Even added my mailbox which did not harm the other two but still could not open hyperlinks in my mailbox. I would gladly try reinstalling Firefox as my prime (and only) browser but cannot find any menu item allowing this. Would you have the answer to this? Also; since the problem seems to be in Thunderbird would working in Firefox have any results.

I think I found the answer but it doesn't seem to be permanent. The problem, as suggested above, is not having Thunderbird as the default browser for mail. Went to properties within Mozella and it states that Mozella is the defaul; but apparently it really isn't. Did find that I can go to add/remove programs>Set program access and defaults>and hit the radio button to use Mozella for both mail and browser then it works fine. Only problem is it sometimes reverts to the old standard and I have to go back to punching radio buttons. Now if I can only find a way to make this permanent than all will be well.
