CD Rom Problem

ok, simply put, one CD-ROM drive is finicky (sp?). it works when it wants to and sometimes wont read CDs, but doesnt seem to work funny with game CDs. it is the NEC model in my sig.

Check the cable connections (power and data).

If it's a old drive you may want to try a CD lens cleaner on it.

Try it in another computer. If the problem persists the drive is at fault.
