WOW! You serious?! I hope you don't plan on gaming with it - a resolution of 19200 x 2400 would bring any quad, dual core video card system to it's knees. This type of thing is meant for workstation enviroments - like a sound/video/software development studio.

Your wasting your time. That company was all about making noise and attracting investors, not making a product. They went out of business in 2004.

Just buy two LCD monitors and set them side by side. You will have the same thing for a whole lot less. :)

I am sure you can do this...
You just buy multiple LCD's and then use software or something to do the viewing... I think I saw something available on stardock.com to be able to do this....I know it's do able...

What I don't like about dual monitors for gaming is that the cross hairs appear in the middle of the two screens.

Heh, well it'd be nice for flight sims...you could have 3 of them really.

if they have 2 hook-ups ...I am sure they do...But all this can be done on one card with one hook up...
I remember reading last year about this...You hook it up via the vid card...that cable goes to a box which also hooks to the pc via USB and then you hook 2, 3, 5 monitors to it... the software is loaded to the pc which controls the box....you could either have the same view on all monitors or span it across them...the price wasn't at all bad...I think a couple hundred bucks for all...

Similarily, for under 200$ you can get a 6600GT with dual monitor capabilites, and then there is no need for an external box.

And what system would be able to handle that? :D (Even if you had half the screens filled with just cockpit stuff...)
a dual opteron, quad Asus 7800GTX 512MB, ASUS SLI PCI-e 32x.
EDIT: oh, and 4GB of DDR Crucial(?) Ballistix

This thread has become an exercise in fantasizing. And a way for some to post pad. Time to move it to General Discussion.

You can change the display using your Display Properties/Settings. I currently run 2 video cards, my AIW AGP and my FX 5200 with Dual VGA is PCI. I can have 4 monitors spanning, or clone.
Of course it would not have the same "Wow" effect to have four TFT's on a desk, as oppossed to one of those Go-L's. Those things looked sweet even when they wern't doing anything.
But as Hi-Ho posted, you would save a LOT of cash. And saving cash is a good thing. :D
