I have Windows Me and my accesories group was deleted. Can someone help me and tell me what was in there so I can rebuild the group? Would be great if had the path to the difficult to find applications.
Thanks!

Why don't you run msconfig and restore the system to before the accesories were deleted.

His problem was solved here:
http://www.tek-tips.com/gviewthread.cfm/lev2/67/lev3/70/pid/615/qid/103965
Solution from that thread: "go to start/settings/control panel/double click add/remove programs. click on the windows set up tab (wait a few seconds)find accessories in the list and double click on it. this should bring up a list of all acc. on your pc.just make sure there is a check mark next to all of them you want and click apply (or ok) it will then add all of your selections to the accessories folder."

I don't get it... everyone complains about WinME, you have the restore feature right there, back up to the day when you had the stuff, reboot, bang, done, what's the problem, as posted above

Well, I thought that the restore feature would be a better idea because of not knowing what or how the accesories where deleted. Thus this would have brought it back to it original state.

Exactly. I dunno... I don't see the reasoning behind figuring what was there when it's all back in just a few short clicks.

ok, thanks for your answers. Just to learn, how do you use the restore option? I really do not know when the accesories were deleted, is there any way to know so that I can tell well I should restore things to what I had before this or that?

System restore does just that, it will restore your system to a previous check point. Windows ME updates these points on a regular basis. When you launch system restore, it brings up a calander with some of the dates in bold. These are dates that you can return your machine to a previous time when things were funtioning properly. You select a date, tell it to proceed, it reboots automatically, and you're back to the condition your software was as of that date and time. No data is lost, but any programs installed after that restore date must be re-installed.
Normally to run system restore, you would find it under the system tools menu in the accessories folder, but this was your problem, everything there was deleted. No problem, go to your Run command from the start menu and type in msconfig, from the menu that appears, you will see a button that says, launch system restore. Click on that and you're on your way.
To give you an idea how effective system restore really is, a while back I manually deleted 2 different programs. 1 was a fax program that I no longer used and it didn't have an uninstall option and wasn't listed under add/remove programs. The other, the uninstaller was corrupt and wouldn't uninstall. I manually deleted the folders and removed all the references that I could find in the SYSTEM.INI and the registry. Later that day I was messing with drivers on the system and did just that, made a mess. OK, no problem, ran the system restore and got everything back to normal, great. That's when I noticed the return of the 2 manually deleted programs, fully functional, with SYSTEM.INI and registry entries.
