Appreciate some assistance.

The mainboard on a PB Legend 105CD has its own video chip. Is it possible to install W98 on this pc without worrying about the video drivers, or does one need to have these drivers before W98 is installed?

You can't load drivers until you have loaded the operating system.

98 should have a driver for that chip, and it will automatically install. If not, it will at least start up and run using the standard VGA driver.

W98SE installed just fine. No hangups with the video.
