Lost My Drives !!

I have my "C" drive with everything loaded on it, but the system is not seeing my CDR-W, and DVD. On top of that, I loaded Promise FastTrack 66 and it loads up correctly, but it to is not being seen by my system. I am running Win98SE, AMD 1.2, 256Ram. I am lost. On top of that I tried to enter the BIOS set, and it is pass word protected. I can call the company who build this system and get that information, but who told them to do that???

Check the obvious first, ribbon cables and power connections. Then do a virus scan, Monkey B will do just that to a system.
