Downloaded SoundBlaster Live Value manual from site and tried printing a few pages. After changing settings to print on Portrait it will only print on Landscape. Any clues? Previously did Scanreg/Restore.

The .pdf document you've downloaded is most likely formatted to print in Landscape. It's not like a word processing document where you have control over layout. Unless you have Adobe Acrobat (not Acrobat Reader), you can't change the formatting.
