Sorry, I know nothing about these things. My son is looking at these Steering Wheel/Pedal kits that are used for gaming. He's looked at the Logitech Wingman and the Interact V3 (anybody know anthing about Interact?) and he's looking for advice on what to look for, what to avoid, etc., and who makes a good set in general.

I've heard good thing about the Logitech force feedback wheel and the microsoft wheel too. In my opinion the logitech one is better because it has better force feedback effects.

Hey Ron,
If you still need more info after posting here, you could post over at the max3d forums. I'm sure all the "gamers" over there have some suggestions.

Yes Ron the logitech wingman formula force(usb)is the way for your son
to go.I have owned and used it for over a year on GP3,great feel, good pedal
base, great foot pedal angle,(important if ya get in to it)I don,t think
that you will buy better.

I have the Logitech and it's great, the PC version works with my PS 2 also. :) The only thing i can see going south are the plastic gears. They seem to "skip" quite a lot which i think will eventually wear them down, but I dont game enough to worry too much, But next time i'll look for one with metal gears.

And one vote for the dark side , I'm very pleased with my Microsoft force feed back wheel/pedals.

Maximum3D has reviewed many of the wheels on the market. I personally really like the Hercules/Guillemot wheels.

Logitech all the way. Best build quality, and excellent software.
