Ok, currently AMD has several different processor lines and they are getting fuzzy to me.

What is really starting to mess with me is the Sempron line

Some of these are 32bit and others are 64bit.

I am trying to figure something out as in which ones are for sure 64 bit.

I have found some listings with a Sempron 3500+, however they said it is the 32bit version. I have searched on the web, and the only 3500's I have found have been the 64bit verison. Even when i checked at AMD.com

So can anyone confirm which processors are 32bit and or 64bit in the Sempron line?

I guess what i am really looking to find out, is there a 3500+ Sempron that is not 64bit? I know there is a 3500+ that is 64bit.

I believe the only non 64 Bit semprons you will find are socket A and Socket 754. Theres a few on newegg.

I haven't seen the 939 Semprons yet except in name brand computers - specifically Compaq. Retail is coming soon though. It's a Venice with the cache cut down and they will all be 64 bit. All Socket A Semprons are 32 bit, and you will find Socket 754's both ways.

I have been seeing some Compaq's that where listed as 3500+ semprom's and not saying 64 bit.

I am to the point that the next processor i get will be a 64 bit.

I have seen some semproms like the 3300 64bit with 128 cache at 2.0 ghz and a 3400 64bit with 256 cache at 2.0 ghz.

also I may have found what was confusing me extra, in a Compaq 3500+ non 64bit, at 2.0 ghz and another 3500 64 bit seems to run at 2.2 ghz.

Of course I don't want a compaq as i would not trust them to stand up to the use i would subject them too.
