I'm trying to build a comp that can handle rigourous video editing, some gaming (I'd like to actually play Battlefield 2, my current notebook can't handle it), and stay up to date for a while. I'll mostly be capturing video from my DV camcorder and editing with Adobe Premier, though I could easily change editing programs if anyone has a better suggestion. I'll also be using it for audio recording (movie overdubs and soundtracks). I've come up with a system I believe could meet my needs, but any suggestions are more than welcome. I'd like to stay around the same price but if spending a few extra bucks somewhere will increase performace I wouldn't mind changing things. Tell me what you think:
