Can you guys look at this video (http://www.erpsracing.com/teaser1.html) for me?
I want it to buffer for the viewer so it runs smooth.

Is it buffering for you before the video starts?

Or

Is it just starting to play without buffering?

Thanks for the help.

It buffered for me just fine. It ran smooth, except about 24 seconds into it, it stopped and buffered again. However, this was probably on my end, since the wife is on the other computer playing an online game that has a nasty habit of hogging my bandwidth.

Something isn't right. It buffered to 75%, started playing, and stopped 3 seconds later and rebuffered. It was downloading HUGE amounts of data, it stopped and rebuffered every 10 seconds till almost the end.

I have a 1.5 mbps DSL connection and a 2.53 GHz computer, so it's not a problem on my end.

Plays start to finish for me. No delays, consistent sound. Buffered to 84% before it started playing.

It buffered quickly and then played straight through till completion w/o any hiccups.

This is what is strange, I tested this on my buddies computer and it did kinda the same thing. What browser did you test it with.

I am new to adding video to web sites, so I am kinda lost.

I rendered the video as windows 9 wmv. It didn't have any option to add buffering but it seems to be buffering anyways. Is this something that is built into the windows media player?

Thanks so much guys.

I used Opera. My Windows media player is version 6.4 with the WMP9 codecs plus I have the K-Lite pack.

Buffered to 99%, started and played fine here. Using IE, XP w/ SP2 and latest updates and WMP 10.
