I have just bought a new computer which only has one disc drive and I was wondering how do I go about copying a CD as my last PC had 2 disc drives so it was a lot easier.
My new PC has a DVD/RW drive, its dual layer and says 'super multi; on the front of the drive.
Thanks.
Hello and welcome to PC Mech,
copy the CD to hard drive (by creating an image), and then burn the image on a blank CD.
Or just buy another drive, then you can copy as you've always done. DVD-ROM drives aren't expensive, and it's easy to install them.

Hi Damo06,
Welcome to PC Mechanic !! :)
It's pretty much done like copying a floppy: you just have to swap out the discs. Most burning software supports this. You put in the source disk, the program will copy to the HD, and then prompt you to insert the blank media.

The copying software will recognize that the single drive is both the source and the target. In the copying process, the data will be copied from the source disk to a temporary folder, then you will be asked to switch from the source disk to the target disk, and then it will burn.
