Mark my words, next they will demand realtime access to any user's files that are on the internet. This is completely rediculous.

The solution to a back door into Windows would be for someone to use an open source OS like Linux. Seems Windows is always the target for this kind of stuff.
I would never buy a motherboard with a chip that allows someone to bust into my computer. I am sure most people feel the same way. I am sure there will always be someone willing to make a mobo without such a chip.
As far as the pirates go, they will just move over to Linux as well.
These people obviously think there are no alternatives to Windows.

The worst part, though, is that this will mean if I have to put a customer's drive into my computer to recover data, I won't be able to. It will be encrypted. BartPE probably won't work either. The encryption is a boneheaded move in the first place -- it's just going to make everyone's life much more difficult.

They could:
a.) Wait a long time for MS to create a backdoor.
b.) Wait a short time for someone to discover a backdoor vulnerability.
My vote is for b.
