I have a 17" AOC CRT monitor that I am not using and I would like to know if I could sell it and, if so, what I can expect to get for it. Thanks!

You can find that size monitor for less than $100 brand new, and even less on sale at times. If you sold it to someone you had to ship to, you'd be looking at quite a bit of cost in freight as well. It's actually not a bad idea to keep a known working monitor around in case your current one goes south.

17 inch brand new CRT cost what? 20 dollars?

I recently bought a 19in CRT for 50 dollars. =/

*keep it ;)

Yeah, I guess you are right. I just don't want something sitting around that is in perfectly good shape that someone else could be using. I hate clutter.

then you should donate it to charity...someone could probably use one

Depending on the Video Card in your PC (if it has two video outs) you could set it up as a second monitor and extend your desktop so you can have one thing open on one monitor and another thing open on the other. Studies show that dual monitor set ups increase efficiency by 10 - 15%.

I am going to be setting up 3 monitors soon. Tutorial on the left-- work in the middle --notepad on the right. I have grown to hate clicking back and forth.
