my friend jus bought a new motherboard power supply and 2 x900xtx for crossfire. he sed he would sell me his old graphics card for 200, its a apg x8000xtx platium edtion or something like that i forget the exact name. and he would give me his old mother board and powersupply. well i know that graphics card is pretty good, what i am wondering if its worth that much? and is it worth it upgrading to another apg? right now i have a evga 6800. i am just wondering if i should buy it or wait and go sli some day. btw the motherboard is a abit av8 witch i already have. and the powersupply is a 480watt from alien ware.

iight heres the name, ATI Radeon X800 XT Platinum Edition
New X800XT's are going for just over $200. It will blow away any 6800 made except the Ultra.

how much are the Platinum Edition's going for? should i try and get it for cheaper?
I don't see the PE's out there any more. When you find them, they are expensive for some reason.

so is this a good deal? also how much do u think i could sell my evga 6800 and abit av8 for? and right now i have a 420 watt thermaltake, am i going to have to put the alienware powersupply in to run the x800xt pe?
No idea on what you can sell them for. The TT should run the card okay.
