So I have fianlly settled on my final build, after days of research and driving myself crazy. I just need you guys to look it over and get your opinions. For a frame of reference, I am just building a light gaming/music machine, but with an eye for possibly upgrading it some time down the road (and not with top of the line stuff, more like better quality)
Case/power supply

Motherboard
ASUS P5LD2 Socket T (LGA 775) Intel 945P ATX Intel Motherboard (http://www.newegg.com/product/product.asp?item=N82E16813131538)
CPU
Intel Pentium 4 506 Prescott 533MHz FSB 1MB L2 Cache LGA 775 EM64T Processor (http://www.newegg.com/product/product.asp?item=N82E16819116224)
Harddrive
Seagate Barracuda 7200.9 ST3808110AS 80GB 7200 RPM 8MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive - OEM (http://www.newegg.com/product/product.asp?item=N82E16822148107)
Memory
CORSAIR ValueSelect 1GB 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM Unbuffered DDR2 533 (PC2 4200) System Memory (http://www.newegg.com/product/product.asp?item=N82E16820145525)
Video Card
XFX PVT42EUDE3 6800 XTreme 256MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 Video Card (http://www.newegg.com/product/product.asp?item=N82E16814150130)
CD-RW
ASUS Black 52X CD-R 32X CD-RW 52X CD-ROM 2M Cache E-IDE/ATAPI CD Burner - (http://www.newegg.com/product/product.asp?item=N82E16827106020)
OS
Microsoft Windows XP Home With SP2 - OEM (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16837102059)
Now, I wasn't sure if the case and the power supply was enough, so I was going to return it and get a cheaper case and this supply:
ePOWER EP-ZU-400W12 ATX12V 400W Power Supply 115/230 V CE, CSA, TUV, FCC, UL (http://www.newegg.com/product/product.asp?item=N82E16817101009)
So if you guys have any suggestions, that would be great. I wanted to keep it as close to $600 if at all possible. Thanks again.
