You have a real problem : http://isc.sans.org/diary.php?storyid=1067

The worm will open a backdoor on your system so you'll additional nasties once it's on and it does it's best to disable and/or remover your anti-virus.

I don't think so, Pam. This is the problem:

O2 - BHO: ADOUsefulNet Object - {22E85F2A-4A67-4835-B2C3-C575FE4EC322} - C:\WINDOWS\system32\awtss.dll
O20 - Winlogon Notify: awtss - C:\WINDOWS\system32\awtss.dll

Thats Vundo. The fix is here:

http://forums.spywareinfo.com/lofiversion/index.php/t55721.html

Read the whole thread before doing anything - follow directions exactly or it will come back.

It's nearly a month and you've left matters for that length of time ?
What happened when you followed glc's instructions?
If they'd failed entirely you wouldn't have a usable computer now.
Follow the steps again with the av scan and the spyware scan, all updated before you run them please, and then run Hijackthis so we have some idea what happened.

I would suggest going to www.ewido.com and running their online scan.
