I finally got mad enough at my way too bloated, name brand, bought and paid for before I knew better anti virus program to uninstall it and start using AVG. What a clean program. It is set up and running now. My question is - is there anything special I should pay attention to in the setup of AVG to make sure i have it going properly? Everything seemed straight forward but I always like to double check myself in areas like this.
Thanks, Tony

The only major thing to watch for is how you want to retrieve updates. If you set it to get updates from the net (which is the most obvious choice), your fine... thats how I set up mine, and its been running fine ever since!

Good...another convert. Down with bloated, resource-hogging, pay services!!

Just remember how good AVG is when you are shopping for a business network antivirus. The commercial version is half the price of the biggies (Symantec, McAfee, etc.).
