Virus and Spyware infected

Any ideas what to do??? (Dell XP machine)
I've removed a trojan.fructa virus from a customer computer (safe mode). Next i ran spybot and removed spyware. Then i ran adware and it starts detecting entries but chrashes the system at the same point each time. I get a blue screen "fatal error" and have to restart.

I was thinking of running cwshredder next and HiJackThis to see if i've missed anything, but like to be able to run adware and install it on the system. I'm pretty sure that the computer is infected with "Coolwebsearch" spyware.

I've done chkdsk and defrag but figure i'll check if anything else should be attempted before starting from scratch.

Try Ewido. You can do either an online scan or install the software. The software is a free 14 day trial, after that it will lose the advanced functionality but will still function as a manual scanner.

Thanks will give that a try. Ran it on my system already installed with AdAware and spybot that i run almost daily and it still found spyware installed. Any specific settings that i could be missing?:confused:

Not every scanner can capable of getting and removing every single spyware/malware/virus... for that reason it is good to have a minimun of 3 different spyware scanners (one with real time protection) an AV (with online back up anti-virus scans available for cross reference) a good Software Firewall, and a hardware firewall.
