I have Adobe Acrobat Standard 6.0.4 and Microsoft FrontPage 2003 (11.6552.6568) SP2 running under Windows XP Pro version 2002 SP2.
Problem: Everytime I open a PDF document, the Microsoft FrontPage installation procedure starts up, requiring me cancel out several FP installation prompts before Acrobat starts. This happens with both FP 2000 and FP 2003.
This problem occurs on both my laptop and desktop PCs.
I tried a Microsoft installation cleaner that's supposed to identify botched installation codes in the Registry, and though it did identify FrontPage as having an installation problem, clearing the "bad" code out of the Registry resulted in my not being able to start FP any more.
Anybody have any ideas?
Thanks.
