SUSE 9.1 Problems

Ok so i just instaled SUSE 9.1

Although now a log on screen appears asking me for a username and password.
the problem is i did create a username and password Added the user, no probs.
But still it says incorrect.

Any suggestions?

Ive tried to continue log on without any Username or password but it just says its incorrect:mad:

haven't set up suse before, but i have to believe its similar to others. when installing, it should have asked you to create a root password

try entering root and the password you set for that, and then once you are in, create a new user with limited privileges for everday use

sorry i can't be more specific as i am not familiar with suse

I don't know if a separate thread should be created for this, but i'll answer it anyway.

I don't know about SuSE, but with other distros, you can use the ifconfig -a command as root to see all your network devices. Do you see amny ethx or wlanx devices?

Ive removed it now as i didnt realy like SUSE anyway.
