Hello, I just finshed building my first computer and i tryed to turn it on for the first time and it gives me 4 beeps, (in order: 1 high, 1 low, 1 high, 1 low) and it turns off. i'm not sure what the problem is. The board is a Intel D945PSN Motherboard. Any help would be appreciated.

Never hurts to reset the Cmos, i've seen 2 boards do the same type of thing. I'd pull the battery and clear with the jumper.

Could be a RAM problem or something shorting to the motherboard. If you post a full list of the parts you used it will help determine what the problem is.
