i am building a computer to start my own animating buisness but i am not completely sure about what i should put in it i know the best way is to build the computer around the video card but i dont know all the jargon and jibberish. So if anyone is capable of helping me out that would be great if you want e-mail me at abeishigh@yahoo.com with specs on building one i have a price limit of around 2500-3000 dollars to spend on it but if i can get away with a smaller expence that would be good too i just want it to be easily upgradable:)

Wellcome to the forums abeishigh. If this is an animating computor, you might want to base your computor around a Nvidia quadaro workstation grpahics card, designed for servers and high end graphical design, have a look at the quadaro FX3000/3400 for about $1200. As for processor, you should be best off with a dual core processor, prob an amd 4400+ and maybe 2gb of corsair value ram. That's the basics, but not too sure on mobos.
You might want to look at a Macintosh.

An Apple computer, as GLC said, may be your best bet. You can definatly fit one of thier high-end systems into your budget, perhaps the G5. And with thier recent switch to Intel Core Duo processors, you'll get nothing but great performance.
They are usually choosen for graphic design, animation, video editing, ect.
Anyone can use them, it takes a short amount of time to get use to thier GUI, which is a little different than Windows. Its alot more user friendly and OS X has alot of eye candy. They are very reliable and you won't experience any complications seeing as all of thier software is developed and distributed by Apple.

a downside is that not all programs are OS X compatible.
