Is there any all-in-one solutions to spyware and viruses besides Norton and Mcafee? Right now I use AGV free edition, spybot and spyware blaster. Yesturday I got that damn spyfalcon pop crap which took me 2 hours to get rid of it. AGV popped up saying there was a virus and I would move it to the vault and delete it, but this would come up like every five minutes.I even ran a scan with AGV and it said there was no virus. WTF! The other programs I have wouldn't even get rid of the one. I ended up finding the program in my computer that was creating all this and deleted it which took care of everything. All these programs were up to date and I use them like once a week. I know there probably isn't one program that gets rid of all spyware, but I'm willing to pay some money for a program that does a good job. Some people were saying that Norton and Mcafee still let crap pass by. So what do you guys think?

Well let's put it this way, if this forum started charging money for troubleshooting Symantec and McAfee products exclusively, we'd hit the Forbes lists. The conventional wisdom appears that with each passing version both those products are hitting new lows.
I use Trend Micro PC-Cillin, it's an all in one suite that includes antispyware, antiphishing, webfilter, firewall and one of the best antivirus products out there. However, would I trust TrendMicro's antispyware offerings? No i do not, which means I regularly scan with alternate programs. I use PCC because it has a really good antivirus, the rest of the suite is a bonus for me. It has been well documented that no one program has been effective against greyware and you need at least a couple of programs to handle them. Personally, if AVG works for you use it, it has been well reviewed.
Finally, nearly all spyware can be curbed by examining your online habits. There are people who can be armed to the teeth, but insist on downloading illegal software or visiting sites of questionable merit .. they just get used to removing spyware from their system.

Try ZoneAlam suite. it has AntiVirus, Spyware, and firewall with some other things. I had used norton till about 4 days ago when i went to zonealarm. I think it has a free trial but I like it so far..

I tried that once and was less than impressed with the AV capability. Within a week, I had virii that their package could not locate and identify.
