Hey guys, its been quite a while... but ive decided to come back and start lingering on the forums for a bit, maybe even upgrade some stuff if i have the money.... On the other hand, i need some help...

Im working on getting my surround sound to work with the speakers i have, and i was wondering why they aren't working directly out of the box. The front left and right work, as well as the sub-woofer. But, the front center speaker and two rear ones don't, and im wondering if i need to modify the settings on my motherboard (im using onboard sound) so they all can work at the same time.

My other questiong may sound kind of rediculous, but im just wondering what port in the back of my CPU do i plug in my microphone to? I'm looking around in the back and see no port with a microphone symbol next to, or around it.

Thankyou all very much for the help.
Sorry for being absent for the whole time.

Jason

EDIT: My specs are in my sig, thanks again

Sorry about the double post, but does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks.

You need to look through the settings in your onboard sound to configure it for your speaker setup. If you have a pink jack, that's the mic jack. Otherwise, the onboard sound controls are needed to designate the jacks.
