Hey all,

Where in linux (Mandrake 8) do I have to go to configure a program (in this case the RC5 client) to automatically load at startup (kinda like the startup folder in windows)? If it's a file, what do I have to put in it? Thanks in Advance!

Do you want to run it from within your GUI? Or just to start it during boot?

To start during boot, you could add the appropriate command line to your the bottom of your /etc/rc.local

Well the program I want to launch is the RC5 client. I want it so that a terminal windows comes up at startup with the client running. How would I do this? Thanks again.

in mandrake configure
under boot you can add startup type files
