I scanned Windows with Avast 4.6 and found these: (I've been using AVG for 1 yr. and it has never caught these.)

1.C:\A01946452.exe [Trojan-Gen, Delphi]
2.C:\oeunist.exe [Trojan Istbar-M]
3.C:\System32\bo.exe [Adware]
4.C:\System32\thin-75-1-X-X.exe [Adware]

I have a backup system state file which is Virus-free I believe. (I don't have an XP CD. Guy I bought it from on ebay never gave me one. What a mistake.).

Can I run my system the way it is with these viruses quarantined? Or should I install by my backup system state file? Any advice?

If they are quarantined, they are no longer a factor.

Why don't you just delete them out of the quarantine if you are worried?
