Hello, i'm trying to connect my Xbox to my computer and i'm having problems.
I have a Radeon X700pro graphics card and it has an S-Video/Composite connection and the card came with a s-video to composite converter but the colors on the converter are different, they are Red/Blue/and Green so i'm not sure which ones to connect to what. But i've tryed them all and i still can't it to appear on my monitor. I can't hear any sound or see any thing.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you.

Unless your monitor has an s-video in port you won't be able to connect your x-box to the monitor. The s-video on your computer's video card is out only. Only ATI all in wonder cards have any kind of input ports.

Not entirely true -- some other cards, including ATIs, have VIVO (Video In Video Out). But I didn't see any X700 Pros on Newegg that had the feature, so you're right that this card doesn't have it.
The red, green and blue outputs are for Component video. You have to have all three connected to another Component device for them to work.
Even if your card did have video in, you wouldn't get any sound unless you hooked speakers up to the XBox.

Thanks for the correction. I usually stay away from VIVO ati cards and forgot about that feature.

You can connect them so that they receive a signal from your computer, but not vice versa.

Hum..This is what i can pull up from the ATI Help:
To enable/disable TV display
1 Click here to view Display Properties at the Settings tab.
2 Click the Advanced button.
3 Click the Displays tab.
If you are running an extended desktop, you must first select the video adapter whose display properties you want to change. Click here for more information.
4 Click the enable/disable button for the TV option.
A desktop image appears on the TV icon when the button is in the "Enable" position.
5 Click OK or Apply to save the changes you have made.
Note
Your TV must be enabled before you can make changes to its display properties.

To connect a TV or VCR to your computer
1 Determine if your TV or VCR has an S-Video or a Composite video connection.
2 Looking at the back of your computer, locate the corresponding video-out connector.
3 Using an S-Video or a Composite cable, attach one end of the cable to the video-out connector on your computer and the other end to your TV or VCR.
Note
S-Video will produce the best results.
If you connect both Composite and S-Video at the same time, only the S-Video signal will be available.
