Which distro?

Hey guys,

I need a Linux distro which will run on VMWare (Virtual machine) and is easy for a Linux newbie such as myself.

I have tried Ubuntu & SUSE 9.1 but i both had problems with internet connectivity with them both.

So what other distros would you recomend for me?

The two you tried are noted for being the easiest, but you may want to give Mandriva a shot.
