Hello all, not been here for a while, but of course I only drop in if I have a problem.......
Just bought a brand new ASUS A6VM laptop with a NVidia 7200 gfx card. Since the machine has multi-language support, I did a recovery installation of XP to change the language from French to English (live in Switzerland, btw). I have managed to successfully install all the devices and drivers from the supplied ASUS CD-ROM, except my graphics card drivers. It refuses point-blank to recognize I have a card installed. If I try to install any Nvidia drivers, either from the CD, or from Nvidia.com, it gives me a message "The NVidia setup program could not locate any drivers that are compatible with your current hardware". I've tried removing the device using the device manager and re-installing, but it just won't do it. I'm really at a loss and wonder if anyone has any ideas, or if I'm missing something, before I head back to the shop. Before you ask, the card was working perfectly before I changed the OS language. Many thanks
