Free Converter to .ASF?

I have a Lyra 2780, and I thought that it used to support .WMV files, but apparently I am wrong...

I know for sure it supports .ASF files as they are the kind that the Lyra records and saves as. I tried to Google some converters and use Download.com, but all I found where ones that made me skeptical and wasn't sure if they were loaded with spyware or not... or the quality of each...

And recommendations would be highly appreciated. And, if possible, I would like to be able to convert more than just WMV to ASF... but that isn't a necessary feature.

Doesn't seem to have any spyware in it, completely free, but only seems to support WMA, ASF, to MP3...

Thanks for the recommendation Joeberg, but that is for audio files - not video.

A little more searching shows that I can play MPEG videos with my lyra (something I didn't know either) - Apparently there are many more AVI/WMV/ASF - MPEG converters... I will take a look at download.com and do some more Googling - if I find a worthwhile software, then I will post up the link.
