I have Windows XP with SP2 installed. I have 5 USB ports on the rear of the PC. I have a mouse, webcam and printer connected. They all work perfectly.
I installed a new program the other day called USBinfo.... and it tells me that they are all connected to USB 1.1. It tells me that I do have USB 2.0. but nothing is connected to it.
Do I have to do something to make them use USB2.0
I have included the pic of the report from USBinfo

I just connected an external Hard Drive to another USB port...and its listed as USB 2.0
I therefore assume that all the other devices are only USB 1.1 devices.
If thats the case, it annoys me, that I have only just purchased the webcam, printer and mouse and they were all advertised as USB 2.0 devices.

Did a bit of research on my devices...and found that they are ALL USB1.1 devices, except the Hard Drive.
I apologise for wasting all your time. But I did learn something...never trust advertising :)

Check the fine print on the devices. They may need updated drivers to function as USB 2.0. Also check the manufacturers site for faq's that may explain why you are only getting 1.1 speeds.
