Received this tidbit in yesterday's email. Interesting but totally useless!:D

"On Wednesday of this week, April 5th, at two minutes and three seconds after 1:00 am, the time and date will be
01:02:03 04/05/06.

That won't ever happen again."

Now back to our regularly scheduled program.:D

Sure it will - in another 100 years.

Yeah, our math teacher told our class that today - I though it was kind of cool.

Of course that kid in the back of the class yelled out: "Does that give us another occasion to drink?!"

It won't happen here because we put the day before the month :D but it might happen on the 4th of May.

Oh No :( I am going to miss it, I just remembered I travel back to the USA on the 24th of this month, so I miss it in the States and then miss it again in the UK.

Sequential yes, but not beginning with 1.

Someone sent this piece of trivia to an email list at work, and this was one of the replys:

Speaking of things that will never happen again...

Last minute will never happen again...

Yesterday won't either...

If we're celebrating non-repeating phenomena, you should start celebrating all the time.

WHOOO! PARTY 24/7! WHOOO!

Okay, I'm done now. :D

Now what would that date be in binary? Anyone still have the converter?

Who needs a converter... although I did leave out the : between sections of time and / between dates.

it will also happen on May 4th since where i'm from the date format is dd/mm/yy (which seems so much more logical to me).

You know how I know you're a robot, HAL?

You think in binary.

-translation- I also think in hex... ok.. that one took me a little longer to remember as it's been a while since I've played with that.... and that date format would then be;

3031303230332030343035303600

And for those of us who sleep at night, we can just wait for 1:02:03 PM on 4/5/06.
