I recently knackered my motherboard and was wondering if you could give your opinions on what I'm thinking of replacing it with:
Motherboard (http://www.savastore.com/productinfo/product.aspx?catalog_name=Savastore&product_id=10279629), 2x RAM (http://www.savastore.com/productinfo/product.aspx?catalog_name=Savastore&product_id=10263983), Processor (http://www.savastore.com/productinfo/product.aspx?catalog_name=Savastore&product_id=10284147).
Cheers,
Bailz.

I would try and go with a skt 939 and 754 is being phased out.

Would generally agree with PC master, but it depends on your budget...if it's limited then socket 754 might be the way to go. Posting back with how much you have to spend would help a lot.
Compare prices with www.ebuyer.co.uk, I've found them to be very competitive.

It's not that my budget is limited I just don't want to spend too much. This seems like a very good deal, indeed.
My only problem is whether it will solve my current problem with speed after fitting another hard disk (you might have seen this in the Drives section of the forum).
If I was sure it'd help it then I'd have already ordered the stuff by now :)

Ok, well if you're asking about just those three components, then I'd change the motherboard to an ASUS with an nVidia chipset; Via isn't the best by any means. I'd also get RAM from a well known brand, such as Corsair Value Select. Haven't seen your other thread, but I'll check it out now.
