The ATI TV player is giving me another headache. I want to manually record some stuff in HDTV native mode sometimes so I click the recording button and apparently it starts recording because the recording box pops up and the numbers start going. However, when I stop recording there is no file saved in the computer and no trace of the recording whatsoever.
I noticed a workaround to this was to change the recording mode to DVD or something other than native mode. As soon as I changed it to DVD quality, the recording was being saved to the designated folder. The problem is, if I want to record something that is time delayed, the software restricts me to do this in native mode only. So recordings in DVD quality mode can only be done if the TV is live.
Has anyone been able to record either live or time delayed TV in native mode? I am surprised ATI hasn't fixed this bug.
