Why is it that When placing MP3 music on my web page I can hear it if only if I install Quicktime, but not hear it with windows Media Player. Off the web I have no problems listening to any music with just Windows Media Player. I really do not like Quicktime for viewing pictures as they appear very small whereas Media Player opens the entire screen. If I am stuck using Quicktime for audio is there some way of turning it off and using Media player for video?

Open WMP, click View/Options/Formats/Select All/OK.

SKI: Thanks for the fast reply. Tried going to View tab but there was no "Option" available there, at least not alone as Option. There were many options with pre items assigned to them but none contained the necessary item you mentioned. I am using version 10. Could it be that I should be on version 9 to accomplish this?

For WMP 10 go to File> Tools>Options>File Types. There should be a long list of file types to choose from, including video. That should take of it. :)

Found a partial answer. Located Quicktime Alternative on the web and it solved most of my problems.
