Hello all, One of my latest builds is a very nice rig with an ATI X1900XTX. Problem with it is after playing a game for awhile it will shut off. Whats peculiar is that I'll be in teamspeak and have time to say oh crap, before it reboots. (Meaning just the video card goes).

The mobo is an ASUS A8N-E, I want to try to raise the PCI-E Voltage but cannot find the setting in BIOS, also. CCC records idle temps of 40-50c but working temps upwads of 80 or 85c. This seems alarmingly high, but yet others seem to be ok with these temps.

Any ideas on what I can do? Other parts are
X2 4800+, 2GB ram, X-FI, Raptor, 250GB SATA storage, 2 CD Drives

Thanks!

What about your power supply? Brand and wattage.

If you are having possible temp problems you definitely don't want to raise PCI-E voltage...What does your case fan set up look like? (where do you have the fans and which way are they moving air?)
