Okay bear with me :D

I created a nice little 5 minute video on Adobe Priemer and it converted it to an .avi file. The file size is about 1gb, my question is that I want to post this video on our webpage, but its way to big. So how will I be able to minimize this size dramatically to post?

Thanks

Premiere - without additional codecs - can export to Quicktime natively. Quicktime using the Sorenson3 codec, lower framerate and resolution should give you something managable. Beyond that you can get Microsoft's Media Encoder (free download) that will convert that AVI to WMA format. Quicktime and WMA would be my two choices for the web, both stream well and allow for managable file sizes and decent quality.
