Are there any drives beside a floppy or tape drive that is 34 pin. Just out of curiousity. I have been doin research because i was told that there were 34 pin zip drives made. Can anyone confirm this? If it is true does ne one know where i can find model numbers/information for them.
Thanks
Nicole
All info is appreciated.
Nope. All internal Zip drives are either 40 pin IDE or 50 pin SCSI.

Ok i have an AKai MPC2000 and the motherboard has an 34 pin cable and a power supply for floppy only. This is attached to the board so if removed it will require soldering. Is there ne other way around to get a zip drive in it? If need be i can take some pics and post up let me know.
Thanks
Nicole
If all it has is a floppy controller, all you can connect to it is a device that will work on a floppy controller and that the machine's bios can recognize.
