I would avoid that seller, I googled fastmemoryman and got a lot of links to negative feedback including mislabeled parts, counterfeit parts, slow shipping, poor customer service, not shipping at all and other similar stuff. See this (http://forums.amd.com/index.php?showtopic=75264), and this (http://forums.amd.com/index.php?showtopic=76323). The guy appears to be a major ripoff artist from what I can find.

If you want RAM that is guaranteed to work with that Compaq, go to Crucial.com and use the memory configurator to find the right memory.
