Hello,
I built my self a new system about 6 weeks ago and everything is working just fine with it. I do however have a slight query regarding the hard drive setup…
Hard drive: Maxtor Diamondmax 300GB Sata
Mother Board: Intel D955XBK
OS: XP Pro
When I was installing the components I literally just plugged the sata cable from the hard drive straight into the motherboard sata connections (of which there are 4).
I did all the normal BIOS stuff and installed the OS. On checking all the drives I noticed that my hard drive was under f: as opposed to c: as I was expecting… Is this normal?? How would I go about changing the hard drive from f: to c:??
Many thanks in advance
