lost home page to freeze.com

I installed a screensaver not realizing that it was a Freeze.com product. It changed my home page to Freeze.com, even after uninstalling the product I can't seem to get my home page back. What are the steps I can take to get back my original homepage? and get rid of Freeze.com as the page that always comes up when I first go on line?

Have you carried out any spyware or trojan scans?

have you gone to options in the browser and swirched the home page back to the one you wanted or will this freeze.com make it switch back to what it wants?

Which browser? Firefox has a problem, described here:

However, it looks like just uninstalling the product won't clean everything up anyway. You need to use Ad-Aware and Spybot Search & Destroy to get rid of the rest of the crap it left behind.

I can't change it in options, the screen is frozen. I have cleaned out the crap but to no avail. Iused to be able to change it through options but not for awile now. I'll try another sweep and see if there really is no lingering garbage.

After you open IE and it opens at that dreadfull page can you open any other sites?

yes I am able to navigate from that awful homepage but I want back my at&t homepage where I navigate to alll things belonging to my webpages, accounts etc. I give up trying to figure out how to change the darn thing. help

I found something on another site that may be helpful. While this person's issue was with FireFox, the removal tool may work for you too. Scroll down to the bottom and use the steps outlined in the reply from Freeze.com support.
