I got some advice in these forums about a new build in the thread linked to below, and have since talked to some other people about possibly doing and AMD build that would give me more upgradeability, overclockability, etc.

Someone correct if I'm wrong but since this PSU you pointed out is an EPS12V, isn't that a PSU for servers and not compatible with standard ATX (according to Antec's site)? But the thing is, is that there are many reviews for this PSU from people who don't seem to have a server. Can someone clarify?

EPS simply means it has the 8 pin EPS connector in addition to the others that you need. However, the non-EPS model of that same unit is 10 bucks less.

Antec product discription says that it is ATX12v 2.01 and the connector set up is for "universal motherboard compatibility"

Any opinions on the build? Problems?

Might want to look at a eVGA card instead of an XFX. You also don't need XMS memory, if Value Select is cheaper, its plenty good.

Is this card essentially the same as the XFX one posted above, and why would you suggest making the change?

Same card, higher quality manufacturer.
