Help me build

Man, im just going to forget trying to repair all my old computers and Im just going to build a new one from scratch.. all new parts

I dont know alot about the parts thats why Im asking for some help on which ones to get, I want to buy all parts brand new for $1000-1500; how good of parts can I get for this much money?

- Not looking for a computer with alot of hard drive space because I dont need it.
- Need a computer that can run todays games around medium graphics 128mb ->256mb video card
- Good for burning, downloading and running things at a good speed
- Able to run multiple programs at once without effecting the speed drasticly
(Able to alt-tab out of a game and still be able to surf web, talk on msn and listen to music)
- wont crap-out on me after a few months like all my other computers did
- Would be easy for 'Me' to figure out so If it breaks down I could fix it myself without having to spend money on a repairman
- Quiet running and can be left on all day (I usually leave my computer on always and it will be in my room so it wont be noisy when im sleeping or something)
- Can use printer, web cam, microphone, and other things I have for my computer (Like my computer-guitar amp and tuner thing)
- Fast Wireless internet (I could use my AirCard but its already in another computer)

Any Help?

Well actually If I could get parts good enough for what I posted above for Under $1000 that would be great because Im not planning on making a whole lot of money this summer and theres alot of things I want to buy.
