Some how there is a Jpeg image photo in my documents that I can not delete. It doesn't give me the option to even delete it and pressing delete does nothing. I've tried opening in safe mode, using move on boot, unlocker and none of those can get rid of it.

I've run out of idea's to get rid of it. I can't even move it to a different folder or I would have done that and just deleted the folder.

Any Help would be great.

Give shredding it with spybot search and destroys shredder a try. Hit mode at the top of the screen and choose advanced. Hit tools, choose secure shredder resize the window so that you can see the file, highlight it, hit the spybot button in the taskbar, drag and drop the file and hit shred. Might take 2 or 3 times through the shredder, and may or may not get rid of it, but works on stubborn files some of the time.

Sometimes I can delete files like these by going to command prompt and using the dos del command. 9 times outta 10 it works.

Strange name, no clue where it came from.

When I try to use shredder, it says the file name is invaild.
How do I use the ms dos command to do it?

Update. found a way to get it deleted. I opened a fileshare program, added it to the list of file to be shared and from there it gives a delete option. Used it and presto it's gone.

I know you deleted it, but just a note, to delete something with command prompt:

Open command propmt and navigate to the folder the file is in:
cd C:\Folder" "Name\Other" "Folder
del file.ext

That should do it.

Whenever you cannot delete a file, first try doing it from safe mode.
