spamming virus taken over my pc

a trojan has taken over this program

services.exe in my windows task manager processes,
ntl suspended my internet account and i had no idea why,
i rang thrm and they told me to use an antivirus,
i bought zone-alarm and it detected too many emails being sent at once and i found out about this trojan,
but how do i get rid of it?
zone alarm doesnt detect it as a virus or trojan and i really dont wanna reformat my hard drive again?

Download a copy of Ewido here (http://www.ewido.net) to a friends computer and burnt it to a CD so that you can install it on your machine without taking your machine back on the net.
You might want to consider the idea of running ewido in "SafeMode" and also switch "system restore" off, remember to switch system restore back on again.
If you can get your machine to run reasonably well without it trying to send emails all the time there are a few other scans you can do as well.
