i have an older version of itunes on my pc which i use for x64 windows, if you want a copy you will need to find an older version or wait for the x64 release. if you still cant wait, PM me an I will dig up the installer file and try and send it to you.

The Mac version is 64bit to support G5 processors, but obviously that doesn't help you any, so....

go here and search for itunes and find an older version and try it. BUT, if you've already used itunes 6 you'll have to continue using it to play itms songs if you have any.

iTunes versions 6.0.4 and previous can be installed on Windows x64. For some strange reason, the newest version (6.0.5) will not install on Windows x64. I don't know why Apple has done this; it makes no sense at all.
I'm currently running 6.0.4 on my Windows x64 because I can't upgrade to 6.0.5.

It's possible that it's an oversight. I would file a bug report to Apple.

Everything I've read online indicates that they did this intentionally (they added code to check for Windows x64 in the installer, so it's not a bug). Nobody seems to know why they did this though. iTunes runs just fine using WoW64.
