The combined efforts of the PCMech Folding@Home Team members (both past and present) have led to contributions of over Ten Million Points to this project! While our team ranking has slipped a bit (currently 73rd), every point means more information has been added to the scientific research database at Stanford University.
The work your computer completes in the background may one day be part of a discovery that leads to a significant advance or even cure to many terrible diseases, such as Parkinson's, Alzheimer's, and ALS.
