I played it for a while back when it came out and I enjoyed it...however, after I began playing CS the realism in AA was too much for me. It's basically a one hit kill and if you are anywhere NEAR a frag grenade you will die. AA can be very fun but it is also very challenging.

I've been playing AA for about a year now. It is a very enjoyable game. It is going to get even better once the next patch comes out. You are going to be able to drive vehicles in the game this time around.

ah yea... it was a lot easier to go from AA to CS rather then the other way around. fun game tho...
took me a tiny bit to figure things out but after i did. pretty fun. doing all the training then playing as medic gets u fast honor points so you can play on the spec ops games with your own perferred m4

As someone familiar with the actual weapons modeled in the game, the sound is recorded live fire of each weapon, and the simulated recoil is very realistic. Good game.

Having never fired the US's weapons (only the UK's ones) the recoil does seem very similar to ours which is pretty cool,
"if you are anywhere NEAR a frag grenade you will die" although isn't that very much like real life
Get to drive vehicles in the new patch that will be impressive can't wait

The US ap grenades are designed to kill everything down to the size of a rabbit for several meters. They should be able to model that effect with no probs.

Well yeah. What I'm saying is, realism in a game is fun to a certain extent. I enjoyed AA for a while then I grew bored with it. Its a great game and is very realistic if you are into that type of game. It's not my cup of tea, though you may enjoy it.

Anymore I play cs and a few older fps's. The army game has merit but I like opengl gaming better. Save for Mechwarrior..... that is my fav d3d game.
Theres a much better free game out now called WarRock.
again its a free online multiplayer FPS.
Try it out...You wont be dissapointed.
Some people say its a alternative to Battlefield 2 because its basicly the same but free.
AA is a class game. uses the Unreal 2 engine which makes the graphics probably better than a lot of FPS out there you would pay for. graphics got too good for my PC setup so i had to stop playing.
very realistic. altough i have switched back to CS i still miss the amout of tactics and teamwork this game requires from its players. i was a level 40 :)
