okay i think i found my problem w/ my sli, after many readings throug fourm i come to conclude my sli is being 'bottlenecked' by my 3500, how can i increase my preformance of my 3500 to or near a 4000 to avoid bottlenecking, or to decrese the 'bottlenecking.' also i've read somewere that amd's cool and quiet somehow decrease's the preformance of the cpu, is this true, if so how does it affect the cpu? thanks

As far as the overclocking goes, first take a look at the stickies, then take a look at www.google.com , then if you get stuck post here. Overclocking is a very broad topic. Make sure you download tools like s&m and Prime95 to run to check for stability. If its not prime95 stable for 24hrs. then its not a stable overclock.

Im not sure on the details of cool and quiet, but its amd's version of intel's speedstep. When the processor is not in heavy use, such as windows idle or when your just surfing the net, it will lower multiplier or voltage to reduce powerconsumption and heat.
